Lake Odessa Wave - February 2, 1983
          MRS. EVELYN WACHA

   LAKE ODESSA - Mrs. Evelyn Wacha, 68, of 2832 Staines Road, Stanton, died Jan. 28
at Sheridan 
Community Hospital.

   She was born August 11, 1914, in Lake Odessa, the daughter of Jay and Viola
Daniels.

   She attended Bippley rural school and married Thomas Wacha on August 25, 1932. 
He preceded her in 
death in June of 1974.

   She had lived in the Lake Odessa area most of her life until she moved to Stanton
in 1978

   Surviving are on e daughter: Mrs. Dorene Collins of Stanton; two sons: Daniel of
Lowell and Thomas of 
Sunfield; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one sister: Mrs. Sarah Harris of
Belding; two brothers: 
Calvin Daniels of Wyoming and Albert Daniels of Hastings; and her fiancé William
Guernsey of Stanton.

   Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral
Chapel in Lake Odessa 
with the Rev. George Speas officiating.  Burial was in the Lakeside Cemetery.
