Ionia Standard, page 5, 18 Apr 1906

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wacha of Orleans are doubly afflicted in the loss of two
children, Henry, 7 years old, and Margaret, five weeks old.  Both cases started
with measles, and developed pneumonia, the baby dying Monday evening, and the
boy next morning.  The mother is a sister of Thomas A. Carten of this city.  The
funeral services were from SS. Peter and Paul’s, this city, at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday.  The children were buried in one casket in Catholic cemetery.
