The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 31, 1924

The funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Wachter was held from the residence of 
her daughter, Mrs. John Haberstrumph, King street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock.  Rev. B. Mohr of the Evangelical church conducted the service.  Three 
grandsons and three sons-in-law acted as bearers.  Burial took place in the 
family lot at Oak Hill cemetery.
