Old Resident Passes; Funeral to Be Wednesday

Mrs. Barbara Wachter, one of the pioneer residents of this city, passed away at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Haberstrumph, 464 King street, on Sunday. 
Mrs. Wachter was at the time of her death 81 years of age.  Mr. and Mrs. Wachter
were among the early residents of Woodland.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Haberstump, at whose home she died, and
Mrs. Garlinger, of Lake Odessa.  She is also survived by three sons, Leonard, of
Lake Odessa, and Henry and William, of Grand Rapids.

The funeral will be held from the late home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. 
Rev. B. Mohr, of the Evangelical church, will officiate.  Burial will take place
in Oak Hill cemetery.
