Lake Odessa Wave Times, Dec 1931

Mrs. Ransom Wade Buried Wednesday

Resident of Woodland, Formerly of Lake Odessa, Member of Local U.B. Church.

Mrs. Ransom Wade, who had been ill for several months, died at her home in
Woodland Sunday.  Mr. and Mrs. Wade were former residents of Odessa, living on
the farm west of town where Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Lepard now reside, near the
Nye school house.  For many years the deceased was a member of the First United
Brethren church where the funeral was held Wednesday afternoon of this week.

Besides the husband she leaves a daughter, Miss Grace.  She was a daughter of
the late James Beard and there are more distant relatives.

[Transcriber’s Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she died 27
Dec 1931, and the funeral was 30 Dec 1931.)
