Hal Wade, Accident Victim

Funeral services for Hal C. Wade, 57 of Lansing who was killed in an automobile 
accident Friday morning, May 24, were held Tuesday at 11 o'clock at the North 
Presbyterian Church in Lansing. Graveside services were held at three o'clock at 
the West Cemetery at Hesperia.

The accident occurred about seven o'clock at Grand River Ave. and Larch in 
Lansing. The other driver involved was treated for injuries at Sparrow Hospital 
and released.

Hal was the son of Merritt and Gaylia (Hulliburger) Wade and were former 
residents of Lake Odessa. He was a ruling elder and deacon of the church and 
worked in the Sunday school program.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy; a daughter, Mrs. Otto Danby of Pataskala; a son, 
Hal C. Wade, Jr. of Bartlesville, Okla.; his mother, Mrs. Gaylia Wade of Lansing 
and two brothers, Aubrey and Rex, both of Kalamazoo.
