Rev. A. R. Mitchell conducted the funeral service, which was carried out as previously announced in The Sentinel, the ritualistic burial service of the church being used and music being dispensed with. Mrs. Wagar’s illness was of but 24 hours duration, her demise following a stroke of apoplexy. She was 50 years of age and the news of her untimely death was received here with sorrow by many friends who knew and admired her useful life.
