Deceased will be mostly kindly remembered by the older residents of Ionia as a daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. Willard B. Wells, and the husband is a son of Hon. and Mrs. Humphrey R. Wagar, still residents of this city. Mrs. Wagar was a person of rare womanly qualities, and numbered many friends here. Mrs. R. Lee Page of this city is a sister of deceased. The first known of Mrs. Wagar’s illness was when Mrs. Page was summoned to Washington by telegram on Monday afternoon. The remains will be brought to Ionia, for a resting place in the Wagar-Libhart mausoleum in Highland Park cemetery, arriving here on Friday evening, accompanied by the husband, and children, Miss Portia and Master H.R., and Mrs. Page. The funeral service will be attended from the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Page, on East Main street, at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, being conducted by Rev. A.R. Mitchell of St. John’s Episcopal church.
