ERNEST E. WAGAR DIED

Ernest E. Wagar, a former well known resident of Ionia county, died suddenly 
Friday evening from a heart attack at his home in Washington, D.C. He was the 
only surviving child of Humphrey R. Wagar, the man who platted Lake Odessa in 
June of 1887.

The body was brought to his boyhood home in Ionia, Monday, where a brief service 
was held in the afternoon. Interment was made in the mausoleum on the family lot 
in Highland Park in Ionia.
