Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Sep 1958

George A. Wagner, 80, of 206 ½ West Washington street, died Friday morning at
the Ionia County Memorial hospital, where he was taken following a heart attack
in a doctor’s office earlier in the morning.  He was born June 6, 1878.  He and
Mrs. Wagner moved to Ionia from Detroit to about nine years ago.  Mr. Wagner was
a member of the First Christian church.  He was an interior decorator.

Surviving are his wife, Avis; one daughter, Eleanor B. Tomlinson of Cyrus
street; two grandchildren, and one brother, Al Wagner of Bowling Green, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home. 
Interment is to be at Balcom cemetery.
