WAGNER
William "Bill" James Wagner, age 62, of Ionia passed away peacefully in his 
sleep on September 11, 2021. Bill was born on July 19, 1959, the son of Donald 
and Norma ((Fennell) Wagner in Stugis, MI.

Bill loved hunting and fishing, traveling to the UP of Michigan and riding his 
Harley. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, snowmobiling, boating 
and helping others any chance he could.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Staci (Dinos) Chamalis of Florida and 
Stephanie Wagner of Lansing; siblings, Barbara (Tom) Todd of Muir, Bev Clark of 
Ionia, Mary (Marv) Gingrich of Ionia and Bobby (Marilyn) Wagner of Arkansas; 
grandchildren, Lidia Sue and Eliana Beverly; and grand dogs, Rylee and Zoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service was held, 12:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Visitation took place prior 
to the service, (10AM-12PM). A luncheon will follow services at the Ionia Moose 
Lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile 
diabetes Foundation, http://www.jdrf.org/ or the Ionia Victim Advocates. Online 
Condolences can be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com. The family requests that 
masks be worn.
