Funeral services were to be held from the Bradley funeral home Friday afternoon with the Rev. A. L. Bingaman, Evangelical minister officiating. Interment will be at the Highland Park Mausoleum. Mr. Waidelich was born in Germany, April 29, 1854, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Waidelich, and came to America at the age of 19. He moved to Ionia at year later where he engaged in the contracting business. He has built many homes and buildings in Ionia, among them the Morse-Babcock building, the Elks Temple, and Carten’s store building. He was a member of the Arbeiter Bund since discontinued, and was its president for many years. He and Mrs. Waidelich celebrated their golden wedding anniversary two years ago. He wife preceded him in death by exactly six months, her death occurring on September 5, 1934.
