The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, November 29, 1929

Mrs. Lucy A. Waigel, 66, of Pewamo died Thursday morning at 4 o’clock from a 
long sickness.  The funeral services will be held from the home Sunday 
afternoon at 1:30 and from the Pewamo Methodist Episcopal church at 2 
o’clock.  The interment will be made in the East Plain cemetery.

She was the wife of George Waigel and they had been residents of Pewamo for 33 
years.  She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.

Surviving her are the husband; a son, James R., of Pewamo; a daughter, Mrs. 
Charles Green, of Kalamazoo, and a half-brother, L. P. Lobdell, of East 
Lansing.
