FLOYD S. WAINWRIGHT
PORTLAND -Floyd S. Wainwright, 77, of 9933 Towner Road, Portland, died Sept. 1 in 
Lansing hospital.

Born Aug. 9, 1907, in Danby Township, he was the son of Joseph and Mae Hudson 
Wainwright. He was retired from Fisher Body, Lansing, and Portland Motor Sales.

He was a member of the Portland United Methodist Church, the Methodist Men's Club of
the church, and the Civil Air Patrol.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; two sons, William of Portland and Floyd Jr. of
Okemos; one daughter, Wilma Elliott of Portland; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, Portland,
with the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating.

Burial will be in Danby Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Francis Trowbridge, Richard
Cline, Richard Babbitt, Robert Higbee, Basil Kinney and Bruce Hamlin.
