                             GERTRUDE WAINWRIGHT

IONIA-Gertrude Wainwright, 77 of Portland, died Thursday at Lansing.

She was born on November 14, 1913, the daughter of Jacob and Willemina Wonink 
Visser in Edmonton, Alberta,Canada.

She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church.

She is survived by two sons, William of Portland and Floyd of Charlotte; a 
daughter, Wilma Thompson of Portland; five grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren; four brothers, John of Sunfield, Jake of Lansing, Henry of 
Portland, and William of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three sisters, Rekiea Raglin 
Jenny Hazelwood, Ann Pung, all of Chula Vista,Calif.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Neller Funeral Home, Portland, 
with the Rev. James Thompson officiating.

Burial will be in Danby Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 
7 to 9 p.m.

Casket bearers will be Richard Babbitt, Robert Higbee, Mathew Elliott, Todd 
Slack, Bruce Hamlin and John Fryover.
