WALDRON Sudden Taking of Husband Follows Sad Death of Only Son Three Years Ago Heber D. Waldron, one of Ionia’s Knights Templar, who lost his life in the wreck at Durant yesterday was 53 years old and was born in Ronald Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Waldron, where most of his life had been spent. He married Miss Mattie Mack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Mack, of Muir and to them one son, Donald Waldron, was born. Donald died February 10, 1920 at Lansing, from the effects of influenza he being a student at M. A. C. at the time of his illness and death. In 1920 Mr. Waldron was selected to fill the vacancy of secretary of the Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Ionia County caused by the death of J. Lee Fowler and soon thereafter moved to Ionia. Mr. Waldron is survived by his widow, two brothers, Lawrence and Clare, of Dakota, and a sister, Louisa Salume of Battle Creek. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon, city time, at the residence 34 Lafayette Street, and interment will take place in the Palo cemetery. The services will be under Masonic auspices.
