His death was caused from an injury received by an automobile running into him while walking on the streets near the Soldiers Home where he was living. Mr. Waldron left here two or three years ago for Los Angeles where his daughter, Grace, resides and for the past year has been at the Soldiers Home. Mr. Waldron was a member of Dan S. Root post and transferred his membership to the post there. His son, Grove Waldron, of Lansing, is here to arrange for receiving the body which will be brought here for burial, arriving Thursday. It is expected his daughter Grace will accompany the remains to this city. Burial will be made in the cemetery by the side of his wife, who passed away several years ago. The deceased was an old resident of these parts and an exceptionally fine man. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was a Civil War Veteran, and he was buried in Otisco Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/w/waldron1264nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
