Ionia Sentinel-Standard – Sat. May 13, 1967

Requiem high mass for Joseph C. Walenga was sung by Father Bernard Korson at 9 
am at SS. Peter and Paul church, Friday with interment in Holy Cross cemetery 
in Grand Rapids.

Bearers were Roman Liebeck, Jack Swann, Gerald Kennedy, Eddy Walenga, Maynard 
White and Jerry Alberts.

Ionia Knights of Columbus members attended in a group.

Others attending were from Detroit, Grand Rapids, Brooklyn, Livonia, Dearborn, 
Dearborn Heights, Durand, Muskegon and Buffalo, N. Y.
