                       BARBARA B."BERTHA" WALENGA

IONIA-Barbara B."Bertha" Walenga, 80, of Ionia, Died Jan. 31, at the Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by four sisters, Helen Kretunsi, Julia McClusky, Florence Clark 
and Margaret Scog, all of the Detroit area; one brother J.Vincent Scog, also of 
Detroit area; several nieces ,nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by 
four brothers and her husband Joseph in 1967.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the SS.Peter & Paul Catholic 
church in Ionia. Burial will be in Walker.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and7 to 8:30 at the Myers Memorial 
Chapel in Ionia.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial 
contributions may be made to SS.Peter & Paul Catholic church or the American 
Lung Association of Michigan.
