Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Apr 1972

Mrs. Josephine Walker, 77, of route 3, Belding, died Tuesday at United Memorial
hospital in Greenville. She was a former resident of Ionia.  She was born
November 16, 1892, in Fairplains township, Montcalm county.  February 3, 1910,
she was married to Robert H. Walker at White Cloud and he survives as do a
daughter, Mrs. Ira Goodenough of Sheridan; two sons, Alvin S. Walker of Stanton
and Louie Walker of Belding; 11 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one
great great grandchild; sister, Mrs. Mae Kersting of Muskegon.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home at Sheridan.
 Rev. Jerry Palma and Rev. Thesal Martin will officiate and interment will be at
Clear Lake cemetery, Montcalm county.  Family will be at the funeral home
Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
