Diane K. Walker, 55, of Ionia, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011. Diane 
was born on July 30, 1955 in Detroit, the daughter of Edward and Katherine 
Tyack.

Diane was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia, loved 
driving her bus for the Ionia Co. ACAP and volunteering at the Ionia Theater 
for many years. She loved reading and was very kind hearted and giving person.

Surviving are her children, Edgar Lewis (Matthew) Walker III of Grand Rapids, 
John Edward Walker and Jessica Elaine Walker, both of Ionia; husband, Edgar L. 
Walker, Sr.; granddaughter,  Serenity Marie Walker; brothers, Eugene (Chyrie) 
Tyack and Daniel (Anita) Tyack; sisters Karin (Willi) Rinke and Janet Gartee.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 
2011 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. The family will receive 
friends 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., 
Ionia and from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Wednesday at the church.
