Ionia County News – Thurs. Jan. 17, 1929

SARANAC- Jerome Walker, former resident of Saranac, was buried from the 
Methodist church here Saturday afternoon. His body was brought from Hastings 
where he died. He was well known here and in Ionia where he was a guard at the 
Michigan State Reformatory for a number of years. The Ionia Oddfellows were in 
charge of the service here.
