Ionia Standard, 19 & 26 Sep 1913

Louis Walker died Wednesday evening at the home of his son Charles in Lansing. 
He leaves another son, who is in the regular army, but no other members of his
family.  He left this city, where he was long employed as a tinner, about five
years ago.  The remains will arrive here on the 1:05 train tomorrow noon and
will be buried in Oakhill cemetery in the afternoon.  This funeral service will
be held at the undertaking rooms of Winchell and Stone, Rev. Branch officiating.

The funeral service for Lewis Walker was held at 3 o’clock Fri. afternoon at the
undertaking rooms of Winchell & Stone, Rev. Branch officiating.  The music was
by Mrs. Thane Benedict and Mrs. G.M. Phelps.  E.S. Shattuck, Jas. Greenman, Geo.
Rector, and Danie Wittish were the bearers.  Burial was in Oakhill cemetery.
