Irene Fern Walker, 84, of Ionia passed away April 14, 2012 in Grand Rapids. She 
was born Sept. 24, 1927 in Alma, the daughter of Chester and Freida Cline. 
Irene married Jack Walker on Nov. 7, 1949. She was a volunteer with Boy Scouts 
when her sons were younger.

Irene is survived by her brother, Dee (Jean) Cline of St. Louis, Mich.; sister, 
Marguerite Randall of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and David; and three brothers, 
Rex, Leo and Robert.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia with Pastor John Prominski officiating. Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions in Irene's name to Spectrum Hospice.
