Graduated 1945 Greenville High School, attended Michigan State University for three years, 1973 earned BA degree at Aquinas College, 1979 MA degree from Univ. of Michigan. Worked 15 years teaching, Reporter & Photographer 1952-1958 for The Daily News, Family Living Editor 1984-1993, on Montcalm County Board of Commissioners 1997-2008. Member of St. Charles Catholic Church, as Minister of the Eucharist, Member of Thalia Club, Flat River Historical Society, formerly active with the Flat River Community players. Married Lloyd E. Walker December 28, 1957 Preceded in death by parents, daughter aunt, brother, sister, brothers-in-law & nephew. Survived by husband, two daughters, two sons, son-in-law, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 sister-in-laws, two nieces and eight nephews. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday August 9 at St. Charles Catholic Church, with Rev. James Wyse and Rev. Mark Bauer officiating.
