Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, Sept. 27, 1956

Mrs. Annie Walker, 63, died suddenly early Wednesday morning. She was born 
in England then came to Ionia when a small child. She married Richard Walker 
and they lived at Long Lake until two years ago when they moved to Howard 
City.

Surviving are her husband, Richard: one son, John of Dearborn, one daughter, 
Mrs. Elizabeth Morse, three sisters, Mrs. Harold Thorpe at Saranac, Mrs. 
Frank Harkness of Long Lake and Mrs. Belmont Burger: five brothers, Tom, 
Maurice and Kenneth of Grand Rapids, Robert of Royal Oak and Jack of 
Ontario,  Canada.

Mrs. Walker was a member of the St. Johns Episcopal church of Ionia. Funeral 
services and burial will be held Saturday afternoon at Howard City.
