MRS. REBECCA WALKER DIES TUES. EVENING
                     ---------------
FORTY YEARS IN THIS VICINITY. MOTHER OF MRS. J. E. PEACOCK 
              AND MRS. SYLVIA PARKER OF THIS VILLAGE
                           --------
   Mrs. Rebecca Walker, a highly respected citizen of this village, passed away at
her home Tuesday evening 
as a result of a stroke which she suffered two weeks ago Monday. Mrs. Walker is the
mother of Mrs. Mable 
Peacock and Mrs. Sylvia Parker of this place.  These daughters have been faithful
attendants of their mother 
whenever she has needed their care.  She has been in poor health for some time
previous to the stroke.
   Forty years ago the Walkers moved to the Bippley neighborhood from near Lowell. 
They moved to Lake 
Odessa about 15 years ago, Mr. Walker died in 1918.
   The funeral will be held at the home this afternoon (Thursday) and burial will be
at Lakeside.
   Mrs. Walker leaves a son Frank of Keene township and a daughter Bessie at home.
