Rites Held for Carl C. Walker

Carl C. Walker, 66, of Lansing and former local resident, passed away Sunday 
afternoon at the Ingham  Medical Center where he had been a patient since Jan. 
7.

He was born in Chester Township, Eaton County, July 20, 1903, son of Frank and 
LuLu (Dickinson) Walker. He married Bertha Rogers of Portland Oct. 13, 1923, and 
they lived in Lake Odessa many years before moving to Lansing in 1943.

Mr. Walker was employed by the Lansing Parks Department, retiring in November of 
1969.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Curtis (Erma) Wash of Lansing; a son, 
Kenneth of Okemos; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 3"30 Wednesday afternoon at the Pickens Funeral 
Chapel, Lake Odessa. Rev. D.L. Green officiated with burial in Woodland Memorial 
Park.
