                            ALICE MAE WALKER

SHERIDAN-Alice Mae Walker, 68, of 445 W.Fenwick Road, Fenwick, died Saturday, 
Sept 12, at the United Memorial extended Care Facility in Greenville.

She was born in Fenwick on May 27, 1919, the daughter of Lewis and Sarah 
(Porter) Walker. She was a lifelong resident of Fenwick, and a member of the 
Fenwick Methodist Church.

She was retired from the Tomco Company in Belding, and also worked at Mitchell-
Bentley in Ionia and at the Fenwick Post Office.

She is survived by two brothers, Porter Walker and Perry Walker, both of 
Greenville, plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. a the Stebbins and Simpson Funeral 
Home in Sheridan, with the Rev. James Cook officiating.

Interment will follow in Clear Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral 
home prior to the time of services.The family suggests contributions be made 
either to the American Cancer Society or the Fenwick Methodist church.
