Ionia Sentinel Standard - Monday July 17, 1961

                              EMERSON R.WALKER

Emerson R. Walker, 46, a prominent Bushnell Township farmer and member of the 
National Farm organization, died Sunday at United Memorial Hospital in 
Greenville.

He is survived by his wife, Letha Durbin Walker to whom he was married in 1941; 
a daughter, Janice, and three sons, Thomas,Gerald and Bruce, all at home; one 
sister, Mrs.A.H.Smith of Fenwick, three brothers, Orlo Walker of Sheridan; 
Clayton of Greenville, and Edward of Stanton.

The body will be at Stebbins Funeral Home in Sheridan until Tuesday morning when 
it will be taken to the family residence on route 2, Fenwick where prayer 
service will be held wWednesday. Officiating will be Rev.H.S.Ellis of Cedar 
Springs, and Rev.Jean Crabtree of Sheridan.

Bearers will be Earl Belyou, Kenneth Fancett, Merl Linder, Jack Gladding, R oger 
Chambers and Lynn Rogers.
