Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 19 Feb 1943

John Edward Walker, 71, died suddenly Wednesday noon at his home in Muir.  He is
survived by three sons, Walford W. Walker, with the U.S. army, stationed in the
south.  George Walker, with the U.S. army somewhere in New Guinea, John Walker
of Muir; a daughter, Matilda; three sisters, Mrs. Amelia McCusker of Pewamo,
Mrs. J.G. Nichols of Millersburg, Mrs. Charles Lumley of Bickford, Ontario.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shaw funeral
chapel.  Rev. Dean will officiate and burial will be in Balcom cemetery.
