He came to Michigan with his parents when a small boy and has lived in Boston township nearly all of his life. He was united in marriage to May Williams March 8, 1877 and to this union three daughters were born, Mrs. Fred Raymond, of Saranac, Mrs. Roy Dean, of Rockford, and Lena, who passed away at the age of sixteen. Mr. Walker’s health has been failing for the past three years and for the last year and a half he has been practically helpless. He died Sunday morning, January 18th, 1931 at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 21 days. Mr. Walker leaves to mourn their loss, his widow, two daughters and two sisters. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 20 from the M. E. church in Saranac and the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in South Boston cemetery, Rev. F. P. Frye, officiating.
