Aug 11, 1834. She was married to William Walker Jan. 16, 1854. They came to Michigan in January 1859 and settled in Vergennes near what was known as the Bailey church, where they lived for several years; since then they have lived in different parts of this state. They came to their son, Geo. Walker’s in South Boston last April, where they lived until Feb. 18, 1904, when she was called to her reward. She leaves to mourn their loss, the husband, and one son, George Walker of South Boston, and three daughters, Mrs. Emma Fletcher of South Boston, Mrs. Allie Carver of Cedar Springs and Mrs. Bessie Foglesong of Blanchard, one son and one daughter having passed on before. The deceased was a professed Christian and gave evidence of her faith in Christ by her testimonies in the recent meetings held at the South Boston M. E. church. The funeral services were held from the home of her son Feb. 20; the interment was in the South Boston cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Wesbrook.
