Funeral services were held from the home of the daughter Tuesday afternoon conducted by Pastor W. D. Ogg. Interment in South Boston cemetery. Deceased was born Dec. 3, 1828 at Waterford, Canada. He grew to manhood in that vicinity and there married Miss Amanda Kitchen. Some time after they moved to Michigan and for several years made their home in Boston township, Ionia Co., afterwards living at Sand lake and Blanchard. Five children were born to them, one son, Henry, dying a number of years ago. His wife passed away Feb. 18, 1905. His surviving children are George Walker and Mrs. Jude Fletcher of Boston township, Mrs. Will Cavender of Sand Lake and Mrs. Louis Fogelsong of Redding, Calif. Those attending the funeral from abroad are: David Walker and Mrs. John Bonser, brother and sister of the deceased, a nephew, Louis Walker all of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Will Cavender of Sand Lake.
