Virginia Marilyn Walsh, age 88, passed away on November 9, 2006. She was born 
on September 28, 1918. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 
of Ionia and lived in Ionia for 60 years.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick in 1977. She is 
survived by her daughters, Nancy (Donald) Klein of Pewamo, Christine (Ben) 
Bierstetel of Fowler, and Michelle Walsh of Ionia, grandchildren, Matthew 
(Lynette) Klein of Pewamo, Darrin (Darlene) Klein of Lakeview, and Angela 
(Sam) Muirhead of Fowler, great-grandchildren, Ashley Klein, Alicia Simon, 
Ella Simon, and Sammy Muirhead, step-great-grandchildren, Christina Dahlke, 
Rachel Dahlke, Dylan Root, and Kylee and Brady Muirhead, step-great-great-
grandchild, Alexis Dahlke.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2006 at 
Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Melvin Fox presiding. Rite of 
Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Ionia. The family 
will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.  A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 
8 p.m. Contributions can be made to Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
