(Bradley) Walker, 84, of 834 Beechview Drive, Jekyll Island, Georgia, died Thursday from automobile accident injuries which also claimed the live of her husband (see separate obituary). She was born December 6, 1901, in Ionia Township, the daughter of Robert and Fannie Bradley. She was graduated from Lyons High School and Western Michigan University. She was a teacher of home economics in several schools and a home demonstration agent for Consumers Power Co., retiring in 1949. She was married to Joseph C. Walker in 1949, living in Pontiac until they moved to Jekyll Island in 1965. She was a member of the Jekyll Island Art Association, and the First Presbyterian Church of Jekyll Island. She is survived by two sisters, Marion Pilkington of Portland and Edna Zipprodt of Tatamy, Pa. and six step-grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. from the Muir Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Bette Dobbie officiating. Burial will follow in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Sunday from 9 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir. A memorial fund for the American Cancer Society has been established.
