Anne M. Walkington, 78, of Saranac passed away Jan. 8, 2013 at Greenacres of 
Lowell. She was born Sept. 21, 1934 in Belding, the daughter of Charles and 
Glenna (Cook) Hollenbeck.

She was a Belding graduate class of 1952. Anne married Fred Card in 1954. He 
preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1973. She went on to marry Darrell Walkington, 
May 28, 1975 in Belding.

Anne is survived by her husband of 37 years, Darrell Walkington; sons, Steve 
Card of Saranac and Michael (Carol) Card of Sheridan; step sons, Mark 
Walkington of Saranac, Aaron Walkington and Lance (Deb) Walkington of Saranac; 
step daughter, Tracey Bussell; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, seven 
step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and one sister, Jane 
Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at Saranac Community 
Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. 
Thursday at Lake Funeral Home of Saranac. Interment Saranac Cemetery.
