Wall died August 2, at her home in Big Rapids, after a short illness of four weeks. The remains were brought to Ionia for interment by her husband, daughter and son. The funeral party was accompanied here by several relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Neff, Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Cook, Belding, and Mrs. Criss Groves, of Edmore. The funeral took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Donovan, Sunday afternoon, August 4, at 3 o’clock. Mrs. Wall was born June 30, 1847, in Worthington, Pa. Her father, John, and mother, Jane McDonald, came to Ionia in 1854 with eight children. Mrs. Wall was married twice. Her first husband was [unreadable] Coon, and to them two children were born, Mrs. Richard E. Donovan and John H. Coon, both of Ionia. She was married a second time to W.P. Wall, of Meridan, Miss., in 1890. They went from there to their home in Mt. Lebanon, La., where they resided until several years ago when they came north. Mrs. Wall was well known in Ionia, many friends receiving word of her death with regret.
