Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 6 Mar 1957

Wilson C. Walling, 43, a resident of Smyrna since 1929, died Monday at Veterans
hospital in Saginaw where he had been a patient for the past two years.  He was
a veteran of World War II having served with the medical corps in the South
Pacific.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burr Higgins of Smyrna and four sisters
and a brother.

Funeral services are to be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Belding.  Military
services are to be held at Shepherd.
