Excerpts from Portland Obituary

Sharyl Ann (Dibean) Walling

Died October 9, 2021-age 77 at Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan-after a 
year long struggle with Liver Cancer.
Born May 13, 1944 and raised on the family farm in Grand Ledge.
She enjoyed sitting in the sun, being at the beach, doing puzzles, playing bingo 
and traveling.
Preceded in death by her parents. John & Delores Dibean, husband, Ronald 
Walling; her sister Judy Sawyer.
Survived by her three children; Jackie (Charlie May) Franke, Jon (Suzanne) Kuhn-
Soper) Franke and Russell (Kathy) Franke, grandchildren, Josh and Abby(Shane 
Chandler) Franke and Brad and Lyndsi Teachout.
Also survivors are her brothers, Jack, Richard and Robert Dibean, sister Dorothy 
(Jim) Pfister and many nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday Oct. 23, 2021 at 12 PM.at Chapel Hill 
Memorial Gardens, Lansing.
Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Liver Foundation in memory of 
Sharyl.
