Edward, who was drowned in two feet of water, was found almost immediately by his father, who tried to resuscitate him but failed. The child was taken to Saranac and when no doctor could be located Druggist Louis Koss and Cecil Morris tried to revive him. Later two doctors worked over him but without avail. It is believed the tot removed the cover from the spring, bent over to get a drink and toppled in. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walling and two brothers, Robert LeRoy and Ronald. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Morris funeral home and burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
