She was the daughter of J.S. Beattie and Durella Hoover-Beattie, natives of New York who became Ionia county pioneers. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C.O. Hayward at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the Saranac cemetery. Mrs. Wallington was a member of the Rebekah lodge and of the past noble grand association and the Rebekahs will give their ritualistic services. Mrs. Wallington leaves three sons, Richard, of Grand Rapids; James and Walter, at home, two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Benjamin Beattie, of Keene.
