Ionia Daily Sentinel, 15 Nov 1913

Edwin Wallington died at 11 o’clock last night in the hospital at Ann Arbor,
where he was taken sometime ago.  Mr. Wallington was one of the best known
business men of Saranac, where for 18 years he was associated with S.A. Watt,
under the firm name of Watt & Wallington.  A year or so ago this firm dissolved
partnership and Mr. Wallington became a member of the firm of the Wallington &
Mercer Company, general merchandise.  About four months ago Mr. Wallington was
found to be afflicted with cancer.  His death is an unfortunate elimination from
the business interests and citizenship of Saranac, where he was so long regarded
as a man of worth and integrity.
