The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Fridays, February 8, 1929
Mrs. Carrie Wallington, of Saranac, died Thursday evening at 8 o’clock from 
heart disease with which she had been troubled since last fall.  She was a 
native of Keene township and born December 17, 1863.  Her husband, Charles 
Wallington, died six years ago.  She was active in the circles of the 
Methodist Episcopal church of Saranac, of which she was a member; also the 
Rebekah lodge.

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon from the home in Saranac at 
3 o’clock and in the Methodist Episcopal church at 3:30.  These will be in 
charge of Rev. J. Haywar and Rev. O. W. Carr.  Mrs. O. W. Carr will sing.  The 
Rebekah committal service will be used.

She leaves one sister, Mrs. Amy Meyers of Ionia.
