The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 11, 1952

Roy C. Walls, 66, died Sunday, August 10, at 3:30 p.m. at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Gaylord Troxel, of 319 Fargo street where he had made his home 
for the past year.

He was born January 12, 1886, in Kane, Pa.  He had been employed in the 
maintenance department at Peschke Packing company.  His wife preceded him in 
death in Ionia about 11 months ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Troxel of Ionia and Mrs. Fred Filiponi of 
Santa Maria, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. William Green 
of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Mrs. Albert Green of Middleville.

Funeral services will be held at the Myers funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m.  
Burial will be in Balcom cemetery.
