Ionia Sentinel Standard - 2 June 1951
Mrs. Cora Gierman Walsh, 66 of Sunfield died at her home Friday June 1, at 6:30 
pm on her 33rd wedding anniversary.  She had been in failing health for two 
years.

She was born Aug. 28, 1884, in Edmore the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles 
Gierman.  She spent most of her life in Sebewa township.  She was married to 
Warren Walsh of Sunfield June 1, 1928.  Mrs. Walsh attended the Sunfield 
Methodist church.

Surviving her are the husband, Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Nash of Ionia 
and Mrs. Clarence Sayer of Sebewa; and three brothers, Robert of Sebewa, Carl of 
Lake Odessa and Elmer of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the Mapes funeral home in 
Sunfield.  Interment will be in Sebewa cemetery.
