Funeral services for Thomas Walsh, 75, who died at Veteran’s Facility in Grand
Rapids Wednesday, October 8, were conducted Saturday morning.  A Requiem High
Mass was sung by the Rev. Fr. James Hoogterp at SS. Peter and Paul church at 9
a.m. preceded by prayer services at Myers funeral home.  

Bearers were Herbert, George and John Witzel, Fred Powell, Tony Balice and Jerry
Duell.  Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walsh and Patsy
and Martin Walsh of Pontiac; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hansen of Greenville; Mr. and
Mrs. Dorell Swanson, Diana and Carolyn and Mrs. Lyle Covert of Lowell; Mr. and
Mrs. Ernest Beyer and Dorisa of Smyrna; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stanke and Mr. and
Mrs. Herman Stanke of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Walsh of Battle Creek;
Lawrence Walsh of Detroit; John Walsh of Howard City; Paul Walsh, Miss Mary
Walsh, Mrs. Ed Casey, Miss Mary Jane Jourden and Mrs. Geraldine Youngs of Grand
Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lardie of Ada; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Mitchell, Mrs.
Roy Pazik, and Mrs. Bea Brachill of Keego Harbor; Mrs. Mary Lossing of Sault
Ste. Marie; and Mr. and Mrs. John Witzel of Lansing.
