She was discovered dead in a chair after Mr. and Mrs. Lowrey returned from the store where they had been for a few minutes. She had not been in the best of health, but her condition was not considered alarming. Mrs. Walter was born in Grand Rapids December 29, 1855. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Post, pioneers of Boston township. She was a member of the Saranac Congregational church and the Mite society. Besides her daughter, she leaves a son, Fred C. Walter, of Boston, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home in Saranac Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock and burial will be in the Saranac cemetery. Rev. E. H. Humphrey will be in charge of the service.
