Frank Loomis officiating. Interment will be at the Saranac cemetery. Pall bearers will be nephews. Mrs. Walter died Wednesday afternoon, March 30 at 2 o’clock. Four weeks ago she fractured her hip and has been a patient in Blodgett hospital until her death. She was born in Vanwert county, Ohio, July 24, 1860, the daughter of Frederick and Mary Miltonberger. At the age of four they moved to Berlin township where they resided on a farm. September 6, 1883 she was married to Hamilton Walter and lived on a farm south of Saranac until fifteen years ago when they moved to Saranac. Mrs. Walter had been blind for ten years. She is survived by a son, Jay Walter, who lives south of Saranac, five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Walter of Berlin township. She is an aunt of Mrs. Blanche Miller, formerly of Ionia.
