Lake Odessa Wave – 18 April 1924
Florinda Martha Shaver was born in Ashland County, Ohio, Jan. 8, 1864, and 
died Apr 5, 1924.  She was married to Henry A. Walter of Boston, Oct. 17, 
1890.  She lived on a farm there until about eight years ago, then they moved 
to Lake Odessa.  After the death of Mr. Walter, Feb. 22, 1923, she moved to 
Detroit.  She leaves to mourn, one son, Vernon Walter of Detroit, two 
brothers, Ira Shaver of Hastings and Ruth Shaver of Prentice, Wis., three 
grandchildren and a host of friends.

The funeral was held at the United Brethren church Tuesday, April 7th, Rev. 
Spafford officiating.  Burial was at Lakeside Cemetery.
